Space bar testing measures several key aspects of a user's experience with a computer, such as speed and accuracy of typing, overall coordination and rhythm when typing, and dexterity in specific areas such as space bar pressing. Speed: The main factor that space bar testing assesses is the user's typing speed. It's measured by how many words-per-minute (WPM) a person can type accurately and quickly. This rating helps determine whether someone is ready to move onto the more challenging tasks associated with computers or if more practice is needed to obtain faster speeds.

Accuracy: Another important aspect of space bar testing is determining how many errors the test taker makes while typing.
